GEA Gas Flare & Purge Units purge gas out of and into pipework safely. When commissioning new pipework, after installing, it is a requirement to safely purge out air from the pipework to ensure only fuel gas is contained within. When decommissioning redundant gas pipe work it is essential to ensure that gas is safely flared off from pipework before disassembly. GEA Gas Flare & Purge Units allow purging and decommissioning to be carried out safely according to the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers documents UP/1 and 1A.
