Gas isolating valves are offered as either ball or water type valves.
As required by EN746:2 & IGEM/IP12 a manually operated gas isolation valve shall be fitted upstream of the first control device in the circuit. The valve will comply with EN331 and Duomo recommend the main emergency control valve being flameproof and lockable.
